Ron Tilley (our Exec. Dir.) marches up the stairs at the U.S. Capitol on December 14, 2005 to pray with religious leaders and peacefully protest the proposed budget cuts which will hurt the poor to pay for tax cuts for the richest Americans.    The protest was organized by Sojourners and Call to Renewal.  Marching up the stairs with Ron are John Perkins, Founder of the Christian Community Development Association and evangelical civil rights veteran, Ron Sider, Founder/President of the Evangelicals for Social Action, Mary Nelson, Founder of Bethel New Life (Chicago), Glen Kehrein, Founder/Exec. Dir. of Circle Urban Ministries (Chicago), and Jim Wallis, Sojourners Founder.               Rev.
